Talent promotion at OWL: From insecure students to scholarship students

Talent Scout Jan-Stephen Glupker and his colleagues help young people who are underestimating themselves despite their good performance. Daniel Cramps is one of them. The 19-year-old is studying and supported by the Studienfonds OWL Foundation.

In Germany, almost every second student is now studying However, students from families without academic experience, with little financial means or migration background, are seriously presented in this group. To change that, 70 Talent Scouts help young people with career adaptations in NRW’s 350 schools. John-Stephen Glupkar is one of them. Paderborn supported native Daniel Cramps on his way to becoming his family’s first academic. The 19-year-old is now studying at Paderborn University and is receiving a scholarship from the StudinFunds OWL Foundation.
