The U.S. Department of State announced the opening of admissions to a fully funded study program for students from Middle Eastern countries to complete their undergraduate studies at three American universities: the American University in Cairo, the Lebanese American University and the American University of Beirut.
The program offers the opportunity to spend one semester at an American university. The scholarship covers tuition fees for a maximum of four years, health insurance, housing, a monthly living allowance, and two round-trip tickets, annually, to and from the student’s home country.
