There are a total of 19 scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate graduates in the country. The winners will receive a grant for the development of research on the effective management of protected natural areas and the sustainable use of their natural resources.
The National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State (Sernanp) will provide 19 scholarships to professionals from across the country who contribute to the conservation of nature and development space through the III Scholarship Competition for Priority Research in Natural Protected Areas (PNA). Together, this is equivalent to an amount of S / 98,000.
In this regard, the head of the sector, Modesto Montoya, noted that scholarships have a vision that aims to make better decisions based on the generation of knowledge.
This stimulus targets undergraduate and postgraduate graduates in the country. The winners will receive a grant for the development of research related to priority issues that contribute to the effective management of protected natural areas and the creation of technical information for the sustainable use of their natural resources.
This year’s competition is the field of innovative intervention. This edition covers national and all ANP opportunities. There are ten scholarships for S / 50,000 (each S / 5,000) amount for this field.
Also, the development of research that expands knowledge about the impact of the oil spill on our coast last January and possible solutions to this environmental emergency will be considered.
