During his message for the 100th day of the fourth year of his government, the federal president stressed that this is an unprecedented figure, never seen in the history of Mexico.
In front of his cabinet members and other guests, he explained that coverage was expanding and the quality of education was improving, for which he explained that there were four priorities.
Treat teachers with respect and justice, never displease them, and never dismiss our teachers; Updating the content of our textbooks, providing scholarships for students from poor families at all school levels and keeping the educational facilities in good condition with the distribution of budget to the parents of students, parents and teachers in the society, ”he explained.
He noted that next month there will be an agreement with the union representation of education workers to increase their income in real terms.
He explained that with the participation of teachers and educators, to date the contents of 97 textbooks have been simultaneously revised and 172 titles and 27 supplementary printed materials have been acquired to enhance the knowledge of educators and students in all subjects.
He reports that currently 68,000 schools have received direct budgets for the maintenance of their facilities and this year the number of schools served will increase and the amount they receive will be even higher.
