La Nación / Socio-Economic Assessment Results Released to Applicants for 2022 Itaipu Scholarship

Itaipu has announced the final results of the socio-economic assessment of applicants for university scholarships awarded by the biracial this year. The final list of fellows is expected next week.

The Itaipu Binational Scholarship Unit this afternoon released a list of the results of the socio-economic assessment that was done a week ago. The information is published on the website www.itaipu.gov.py, in the “Scholarship Program” section on the left side of the site.

It should be noted that professionals from the National Institute of Statistics (INE) met with 2,688 applicants for the Itaipu 2022 Scholarship who passed the basic skills test, including 40 persons with disabilities and 47 members of indigenous communities.

The purpose of this assessment, which covers different parts of the country and ended on April 10, was to obtain clear and precise information about the socio-economic profiles of applicants who are still competing.

Itaipu’s social responsibility adviser Daniel Ramirez Brizuela explained that the final list of socio-economic assessment stages would include applicants who passed the step and those who did not, citing reasons in each case.

Young people who deem it appropriate can fill out the form available on the same website and request a socio-economic assessment review by this Wednesday, April 13th. The consultation reception will end at 23:59 pm.

Next Monday, April 18, Itaipu is scheduled to publish the final list of scholarship recipients selected in the process by the bi-national.
