Aswan Governor Maj. Gen. Ashraf Atiyah met with a delegation from the Fulbright Authority of Egypt. Led by Maggie Nassif. The meeting discussed the process of applying for a Fulbright grant for research and study in the United States. In the near future to receive advanced programs for undergraduate studies and authority teaching members for graduates from America Aswan Egyptian University.
It was attended by Deputy Governor Dr. Ghada Abu Zaid, as well as Marwat Al-Saman, Head of the Population Unit and Coordinator for International Relations of the Governorate, and officials from the relevant authorities.
Maj. Gen. Ashraf Atiyah, Governor of Aswan, thanked the Fulbright authorities of Egypt for this pioneering initiative, which was aimed at gaining the multiple professional experience of government employees. The program and its full implementation method

The Governor reaffirmed that the Governorate, for its part, is moving forward at a steady pace in implementing intensive training programs for youth personnel in the General Courts and various local units and departments, in line with the vision of President Abdel Fattah El. – CC in the interest of the country in all sectors to support and empower young cadres capable of taking responsibility through latest management theory and scientific and practical planning.
For his part, Dr. Maggie Nassif praised the development work that Aswan is currently witnessing, explaining that the highest percentage of candidates are interested in receiving grants, a celebration to bring Fulbright graduates to Aswan, as well as organizing training workshops for them and young people. So that they benefit from their previous experience and skills and the authorities will try their best to qualify the young people who are willing to apply so that they can pass the required test.

In the same vein, Mervat El-Saman said that applications for various grants are made through the following link: https://fulbright-egypt.org/porgram/student https://apply.iie.org/ffsp2023, in the undergraduate and doctoral programs as Fulbright Conducting grant programs, training leaders, preparing leaders, applied, fine and performing arts, Islamic studies, collection of scientific material, and conducting research aimed at enhancing English language proficiency and skills for representative newly graduated teachers. Academic year 2023/2024, as well as business administration for university and research center leaders, available for submission by June 7, 2022.
He mentioned that the Hubert Humphrey Fellowship Program and the Fulbright Program for Teaching Foreign Languages are available for application until June 28, 2022, while there are other programs for faculty members represented by grants for artistic management. Institutions, museums and heritage studies and post-doctoral research grants in addition to the Fulbright Joint Supervision PhD program. The deadline to submit documents for these programs is August 30th.
